Allies Heavy vs Heavy Germany
B-29 Superfortress Messerschmitt Me 264
The B-29 Superfortress was a 4-engine Heavy Bomber, used mainly by the U.S. It was a very advanced bomber for the time, and was produced on a very large scale. This would be the plane to later drop bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, as well as other places. The B-29 continued production after WWII. The B-29 was built for high altitude bombings but would later go on bombing runs at low altitudes at night. This plane was used a lot during the Pacific Theater of WWII. The "Enola Gay" was the name of the B-29 which dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and the "Bockscar" would drop one on Nagasaki.
